A comforting reminder on those not so easy days 🤍 No feeling or thought is final, and when things are bad, it won’t always be that way… This too shall pass ✨

ad | Getting into the habit of journaling was one ad | Getting into the habit of journaling was one of the best things I've done for my mental health ✨

Putting pen to paper was how I first started to connect with my mind, it gave me the awareness to know what made me feel good, and what didn't, and over the years it's been a place to put worries or thoughts into black and white and bring some perspective to things.

This mental health awareness week I've partnered with @lumie.lights to share 5 journal prompts to help with your mental health.

1. What daily practices support your mental wellbeing?

2. What small steps can you take to do more of those or start to prioritise them?

3. How do you show yourself kindness and compassion?

4. What boundaries could you set in relationships to safeguard your mental health?

5. On tough days, I want to remember that...

What habits support your mental health?

When do you feel most connected? 🌎✨ For me, When do you feel most connected? 🌎✨

For me, after experiencing loneliness a few years ago, it’s something I’ve started to actively seek out. Whether it’s while practising Yoga, being fully present with family and friends, spending time in nature, doing the local park run, singing at a concert, chatting to our neighbours, or even just smiling at a stranger.

I think the pandemic really highlighted how important connection is to our overall wellbeing, whether it’s found in the big or small moments.

This coming week is #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, and the focus is on lonelinesses. Feeling connected to yourself, others and the world around you is one of the best ways to combat that feeling of being disconnected.

What’s on your ‘connected’ list, and how can you incorporate more of them into your life? 🤍
