We’re all adjusting to a new norm right now.
It’s hard to know what to do for the best, and every single one of us is having to adjust our lives in some way. I’ve been wanting to continue to post, both in a selfish way as my own escapism from it all, but also for you guys to use as your own distraction too.
With everything that’s happening now, it’s the small, what once seemed like insignificant things that will be getting us through our days. It’s finding the little pockets of joy and being grateful for what we do have. Yes, we’re potentially feeling bored, lost and uncertain right now but I’m sure most of us are safe in our homes, and that alone is shifting my mind set and getting me through the day. If we’re able to stay at home, safe with heating and food in our fridges – we’re privileged! Another thing I want to say is that it’s ok to do NOTHING during this time, there’s enough pressure on us all as it is without the need to become an artist or learn to play a musical instrument. Basically, take it easy, be kind on yourself and do what feels manageable to you.
So, for those of us at home for the foreseeable future with quite a bit more time on our hands, here’s over 50 things we can do – whether we fancy being productive or lounging on the sofa I hope this gives you some inspo on what to watch, bake, eat or throw yourselves into over the next month (or so).
