So, the title is pretty self explanatory but I’m going to write it again because it still doesn’t feel real… I’m moving to Manchester *eeeeeek*
I’ve been sitting on this news for what feels like forever. Around October last year I knew I would definitely be leaving Lincoln and heading to either Manchester or London this year. After a lot of back and forth, I realised Manchester just made so much more sense for me.
I know this seems completely out of the blue, and there’s a whole host of reasons why I’m moving. At the end of last year I knew I really want to push myself out of my comfort zone, believe in myself and act on my curiosity of moving to a new city. I’m beyond lucky to have supportive and amazing people in my life who have helped to make it happen.
I was actually born in Manchester so it’s quite funny to be going full circle. I’m so excited to live in a city, progress in my career, live with one of my best mates and see where this next chapter takes me.
So, the details…
I have a beautiful apartment that I will be sharing with one of my bestest friends who I’ve known for years. Jay still works away a lot but will be able to come and visit when he isn’t working.
Oh, and one last thing, I have a new job! The interview was on Friday and that night as I was driving home I got the call to say it was mine. My career is still within digital marketing but taking a slightly different direction specialising in Paid Media. I’m also really keen to kick start my blog/ Instagram again, I really want to share more fashion content and actually build some sort of schedule with it (famous last words).
Honestly, as you can probably imagine everything is pretty jam packed at the moment. I’m in the process of packing up my three bedroom house in Lincoln to move to a 2 bedroom apartment, so there’s been A LOT of clearing out and sorting (and selling on for sale and swap which has become the biggest bane of my life).
I’ve had to stop myself from saying ‘I’m so excited’ throughout this blog post. Honestly I feel such a mix of emotions making such a big life change/ decision, but ultimately I’m so ready to have fun and see where this takes us. I’m so grateful to have such a supportive husband, family and friends and I can’t wait for this next adventure.
I hope if you’re reading this and have been following me for a while you stick around for this next stage in my life, I have a feeling that going to be a good’un!
