Last Minute Christmas Gifts For The “Hard To Buy For”.

this post is in collaboration with TKMaxx

We all have atleast one person in our lives that feels simply impossible to buy for. In previous years I’ve got to the middle of December, had a panic and ended up buying something I’m not 100% certain they will like and get use out of (which is never a good feeling). This year I was challenged to see how many gifts I could find under the £50 mark in TKMaxx and it inspired me to write this post. It’s the place to shop for the people that seem to have everything because you always stumble across something that’s just perfect. Here’s some gems I managed to find this year.

Gifts for her (and him!)

After buying all of these gifts and starting to write this post, I’ve realised that every single thing could be gifted to a man or women in your life. I bought a couple of things with people in mind, and some bits as back up as they’re so unique and universal to gift.

I’m starting off with my favourite find, a beautiful cashmere scarf that I managed to snap up for £30! Honestly, I would quite like to keep this for myself, but I bought it with my mum in mind as it’s almost become a bit of a tradition to get her a scarf every year. As a way of being more sustainable I’m really trying to gift things that are quality, and this couldn’t be more true to that.

Another thing I tend to buy a few of to gift every single year, whether it’s Christmas or birthdays, is candles. This Christmas the selection at TKMaxx is insane, so many good options and all reduced from the RRP. I went for a bedroom candle with lavender, I think most people are covered when it comes to candles for their living room/ hallway, but not every candle works in the bedroom. I spent a good 10 minutes smelling all the different options, but as soon as I got to this one I knew I had to buy it for someone, it’s the most relaxing scent and like no other candle I’ve smelt before.

Onto something you just can’t go wrong with, a special photo and a nice frame to go with it. It’s an affordable option so perfect if you’re on a budget, but it shows a lot of thought too and feels really special, especially if you have family and friends you don’t get to see all that often like I do. Honestly I don’t know how I only walked out with one photo frame, but sticking with the £50 budget I managed to find a gorgeous brass one. I think this will be going to my brother as he’s just moved into a new place, he walked me down the isle on my wedding day so I’ve got some lovely photos from that too. You can never have too many family photos around the home!

The last thing I bought was a gift for my husband, one thing he’s constantly asking for is a nice notebook. I guess it’s something you can’t have too many of! If you’ve been to TKMaxx before you’ll know it’s the best place to find unique stationary, that’s good quality and affordable. I bought some chocolates alongside this and I’m going to pop it in his stocking as a little stocking filler.

TKMaxx allows you to find things that are unique no matter who you are looking to buy for, which is one of the reasons I find myself shopping there. Plus with the price reductions I can always get something that’s really good value for money. I hope you managed to get some inspiration from this post for the people that are a little more difficult to gift in your life.
