4 Things I'm Looking Forward To This Spring.

There's snow outside, it's -5 and I've never felt more ready for spring and what's to come over the next few months! I have so much going on and I thought I would bring you up to speed and share 5 things I'm looking forward to in particular...
I'm getting married, moving and I'll be starting a new job within the space of 2 weeks - yes I'm a little stressed haha! The wedding is obviously something I'm looking forward to, but it's everything that comes with it like my hen do, the night before with my mum and bridesmaids, the honeymoon, feeling like a princess for a few hours - I just can't wait... As for the move and starting a job, I'm just so excited to begin a new chapter in my life. Rewind 2 years ago me and Jay would go to John Lewis and Ikea then spend hours pointing out things we like for our future home (and disagreeing on certain things - that happened a lot), it feels so good to know that we can finally put the window shopping behind us and actually buy furniture. I have that feeling of excitement when something you have been waiting for so long finally becomes a reality.

These are coming back and hopefully staying. I finally managed to get out of my comfort zone and enjoy taking outfit photos, then my trusty photographer (aka, instagram husband Jay) had to work away for 4 months - brill. I can't wait to bring them back and do more. I love Chloe Plumstead and how she integrates chatty lifestyle posts with outfit shots, that's something I want to do more of this year. It was actually my fancy new tote from Radley* that spurred me on to take the photo for this post, and get back into the swing of things with outfit shots. Radley have a gorgeous selection and I'm a sucker for a simple, good quality tote bag. This is the Greyfrair tote, it's the perfect size as it's not too big but amazing for those days when I need to carry quite a lot with me.

HALLELUYA! I'm so bloooody done with winter. I've come to realise spring is my favourite season, nothing (excluding coffee and cake) brings me joy like that transition from winter to spring. It's already getting easier to take pictures with the longer days. I also spotted blossom on a tree the other day and the excitement was real - although with the current weather I am aware that I have a little longer to wait until it's short sleeves and pretty dresses weather.

My first mission after I move and feel settled is to improve my blog. It's something I've wanted to do for a while but it will definitely cost quite a lot of money. As much as I love posting on my blog the design and look of my site does get me down and stops me promoting it as much as I should. I can't wait to get back into the swing of things and take my little space on the internet to the next level.

P.s. I just want to say a huge thank you... It isn't often that I say it anymore but I've really come to love blogging and the interaction I get from all of you that comments. It means the world to me that you take the time to read my blog and I can't wait to share this huge next chapter of my life with you all! x
