Although there always seems to be sales throughout the year now, around Christmas and going into January most places seem to have 50% off or more, and it’s the one time I like to splash out and treat myself.
This year I’m getting organised and looking at everything all of my favourite stores have to offer early, if it goes on sale and it’s still in my size, I’m going to snap it up! I find this is the most effective way to shop in the sales too, there have been so many occasions that I’ve bought something just because it’s half price. Now, I try to bookmark items I love and wait for the sales to come around.
One thing I definitely need to get in the sales this year is a new coat, I want a more casual black padded coat – I’ve bookmarked this one! I also have my eye on this, I have it in Khaki and get so much use out of it, that justifies another colour… right? Clothing wise some nice knitwear is a priority, I live in high neck jumpers and this one from Whistles looks so cosy, I love the look of this one too – and it’s definitely more affordable.
A lot of the Christmas beauty sets get reduced too, and I would be lying if I said I didn’t treat myself to a couple most years… I’m absolutely loving all things skincare at the minute and I’m praying this set goes into the sale, aswel as this as I’ve been wanting to try more from Glam Glow for ages.
I’ve been after some plain black ankle boots with a bit of a heel for a while, I’ve seen this pair with a chunky block heel that I love (and they look comfortable) but, I also really like the look of these too… Just debating whether I can justify both! I think they are a really easy way to dress up any outfit, and they would go with most of the trousers/ jeans I have in my wardrobe already.
THE WISHLIST
I’ve heard that some sales are starting as early as the 18th of December this year, so I’m going to make sure I keep checking back at these items to see whether they are reduced! There’s nothing better than a good bargain.
