It’s been a while since I posted about some non-beauty things that I’ve been loving – here’s my last one if you missed it! With a shift in season I’ve found there’s been a few new lifestyle bits I’m enjoying recently…
Desenio prints/ home decor
I’ve decided to change the colour scheme of my bedroom which is now a mix of grey, gold, blush pink and some touches of green from plants/ flowers (which is also my wedding colour scheme) – and I’ve really enjoyed giving the space a little refresh. I used to have so many things but now it’s much more minimal, which I 100% prefer! I have a post coming up at the end of the month with Desenio, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
Out of Body Experience by Anthony Peake
Since graduating last year I’ve slowly started to miss learning about Psychology. It’s a subject I’ve always been interested in, and on my way back from York the other week I needed a book to read and I decided to buy Out of Body Experience by Anthony Peake. Without going into too much detail I’ve had my own out of body experience, and consciousness is a subject that I’m interested in. Honestly, I barely read books, but I can’t put this book down. It goes over the history behind the subject and real life OOB experiences, including near death experiences. If you’re interested in psychological theories then you will absolutely love this book – it’s fascinating!
Tetley Tea
I know it seems a bit weird to mention tea but I’m trying to cut down on my coffee intake, and the Tetley Cranberry and Elderflower Boost Tea is definitely helping me keep coffee to a minimum! If you are a tea lover and haven’t tried anything from the Super Fruits range then I would highly recommend them.
Krissy Cela
In my last lifestyle favourites I mentioned Body Pump, which I still think is a good way to get into lifting weights, but now I’m really loving just going to the gym and doing my own workouts there. I’ve been going with a friend and we’re following some of the moves from Body Pump but also the workouts from Krissy Cela. The workouts that she posts are free to watch – obviously because they’re on Instagram, but they are seriously effective. I love her leg/ glutes workouts and I’ve been doing them for over a month and have already noticed a difference!
Vlogging
I knew for years that I wanted to start making YouTube videos, but it was always difficult to know exactly what content to put out there. I bought this camera a couple of weeks back which has made vlogging a dream, I feel so much more myself vlogging and I think it’s going to help me feel more confident for sit down videos too.
