If you’re a regular reader you’ll know that my obsession with blush pink is real…
Over the past few months I have found myself gravitating towards pretty much anything in this shade – it’s even the main colour for my wedding! Don’t get me wrong I’m loving all of the current more autumnal tones, but my love for this colour just isn’t budging!
I snapped up this absolutely beautiful lace top from Zara a couple of weeks back, not only is this a bargain at £15.99, it is really nice quality and manages to dress up an outfit. For my graduation I picked up a blush pink lace dress from Dorothy Perkins of all places, not somewhere I usually shop in but as soon as I saw this dress I knew it was what I wanted to wear for the day.
I have already spoken about this in my Autumn skincare routine post, but not only does the Magnitone* look lovely it has really managed to change my skin for the better. I have oily skin prone to breakouts so being able to deep clean has made such a massive difference. This has become an essential in my routine now, even on those nights where the last thing I want to do is a full blown skincare routine, I actually look forward to using this.
I remember the first time I tried the original Stella McCartney and I absolutely loved it, for my birthday this year my mum surprised me with the Stella Eau De Toilette. I actually prefer this to the original, it still has the same recognisable Stella scent except without being too over powering. For me this is a great all year round sort of scent, although it’s a floral fragrance it definitely feels A/W appropriate.
You’re probably going to be shocked with this next one, but the quote pictured below was under £2 from the Card Factory. I was picking up a card for a friends birthday and ended up leaving with half a dozen other things for myself – typical… but I couldn’t leave this behind. Not only does it look pretty but I actually really love the quote, and it works well for blog photography too.
Lastly I had to give a mention to The Life- Changing Magic of Not Giving a F**k, I have only just started reading this but so far I’m really enjoying it. I’ll be honest, I’m getting much better with age but I’m naturally a worrier, and I always care about what people think of me. In a bid to finally have the confidence to start a YouTube channel and not care what people will think/ say, I decided to finally give this book a read. I this works and manages to change my mindset, then it certainly will be a form of magic!
So they were some of the lovely blush pink things I currently own, in addition to those I have put together a mix of fashion & lifestyle bits below that I would love to add to the collection…
If this post wasn’t enough and you want to drool over some more blush pink goodies, then I recommend heading over to Lily’s blog Pintsizedbeauty where you will find a fabulous blush pink wish list post. Plus, if you’re looking for some Christmas gift inspiration (or some “treat yo self” inspiration) then Georgie from Asyouwishuk has wrote a stunning blush pink Christmas gift guide – I want everything!
Which colour are you lusting over at the minute?
