Although it's only pink packaging, I wanted to give the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara £7.99 a mention. I went back to using this at the beginning of January and now I'm reaching for it pretty much everyday. It manages to add length and volume to my lashes without being clumpy, so my lashes don't look too fake or dramatic which is the look I want to go for this Valentines and for date nights in general. I highly recommend it if you haven't given into all the hype with this already.
MAC All That Glitters Eyeshadow £13 was my first MAC eyeshadow purchase, and it's still a shade I reach for when I just want an easy to wear wash of colour. It's pigmented, soft and really compliments my blue eyes without being over the top. It's just perfect for when I want to wear just a little more than mascara and not look too done up.
Although I'm currently having a love affair with Bio Sculpture nails (there will be a post coming on this soon), The Barry M Gelly High Shine Nail Paint in Pink Lemonade £3.99 is my holy grail nail polish. Whenever I wear this shade I instantly feel more put together, and it just goes so well with everything. I also love the formulation of Barry M Gelly polishes, they last much longer on the nails than other polishes I've tried and only need two coats for an opaque finish.
I'm not a massive fan of a bold pink lip, so the Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Descanso £20 is about as pink as I'll go. Annoyingly I didn't realise before writing this that it's actually limited edition, although I think it will be released again in another Nars holiday collection. The formulation of the Satin lip pencils in general is fab, they're creamy, pigmented and really comfortable to wear. Descanso is the perfect pink/ coral shade and it ties in nicely with All That Glitters eyeshadow. I couldn't think of anything worse than a bold matte lipstick around Valentines, so I'm definitely opting for this...
