As soon as I'm home for the night I'm straight into something comfy. I picked up some gorgeous new fluffy bottoms from New Look (pictured) and I've hardly taken them off since getting them. Something else that keeps me going through the evening is tea! I love green tea, peppermint tea and when I fancy something sweet peppermint and liquroice is surprisingly pretty good, and stops me craving chocolate - kind of.
This post wouldn't be complete without mentioning candles. I found my perfect home scent by taking the Amara quiz, if you love a good quiz then you need to take it, it basically confirmed my love for floral scents and helped me decide on some new candles to try this winter. The Neom Happiness candle* is my favourite, it kicks of a gorgeous floral scent that isn't too girly - perfect all year round.
For atleast half an hour of the evening I'm really trying to make sure that I stay away from my phone - although even that is proving hard. I do feel better for it and to replace my laptop/ social media I'll either read a book or play some music. I really wish I was one of those people that loved to read, but in all honesty I actually become bored and uninterested so quickly. I read Gone Girl like most so thought that The Girl on The Train would be fitting. Music wise I love pretty much anything, Spotify is an aboslute god send, if you're a music lover and want an easy way to have everything in once place, you need to try Spotify.
Skincare is part of my routine every evening, but a couple of nights a week I'll put in a little more effort. The Beauty Pro Rejuvenating Collagen mask* is only £4.99, so on the more affordable side when it comes to sheet masks and it's well worth investing in during the winter months. Addmitedly the slimey texture does take some getting used to, but this did leave my skin feeling really good and looking radiant. Another favourite is the Kiehls Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Masque, this is so good if you are looking to add hydration and radiance to the skin.
I'm going to be posting every other day throughout December, but fingers crossed I'll still make time for the odd relaxing evening in!
